I have had a passion for editing ever since my parents got their first computer when I was in the 8th grade.  I was given a copy of Adobe Premiere software, and my home videos were never the same again.  The same thing happened when I went to a friend's house and he had After Effects.  I fell in love.

Video Editing and Visual Effects are all about order.  While I wish I had an ability to plan out everything in life, and make it go according to plan, I haven't found out where that magical machine is yet.  One place where order can come to light is in the edit room, and that magical machine is a computer.  While there are still bumps along the way, that is part of the experience.  I enjoy making film and video look beautiful and creating moments through juxtaposition and fabricating elements.

I recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago, with a concentration in editing.  I have edited many short films, and had some work as a Visual Effects Supervisor and Visual Effects Artist.  My films and spec spots have won awards, which I am very proud of.

 I am proficient in Avid, Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop, Mocha, Nuke, and even web programming.  If there's something you need done and I don't know how to do, I always look forward to learning more.  Expanding my horizons is what gets me through each day, and I would love to expand my horizons through working with you.
